The Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering organises an intensive course (live lab) within the framework of the European project EnvYJobs (Environmental learning innovation for more knowledge and better jobs).

The live lab is held in English and is addressed to students of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering and of the partner institutions, University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest (Romania) and University of Applied Sciences of Saxion (Netherlands).

Programme
The live lab programme addresses the issues related to water supply systems through seminars held by Italian experts and representatives of companies in the sector. Practical exercises and field visits are scheduled in companies belonging to the public and private sectors. Participants will learn how to use open source software Qepanet (implemented by UniTrento) for the water supply system simulation. During the two weeks, they will also have to deal with a real case of management/ planning of a water supply system.

Final certificate
3 ECTS will be awarded for successfully attending the live lab. These credits may be recognised as “Other activities” to students of the bachelor degree in Environmental and Land Engineering.
