UniTrento signs a new agreement with Vietnam

Stronger cooperation with the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) of Hanoi

On 17 July the network of the international relationships of the University of Trento were further strengthened thanks to a new bilateral agreement, signed by the Vice Rector for International relationships, Carla Locatelli, and by the Rector of the University of Transport and Communications (UTC) di Hanoi (Vietnam), Tran Dac Su.

The two Universities have already been cooperating within the framework of the Erasmus Mundus, Action 2, coordinate by UniTrento: “Swap and Transfer” and “One More Step” and they decided to further intensify their collaboration, focussing in particular on engineering science.

The agreement was signed in presence of the members of the Vietnamese delegation, including the UTC Rector, the Director of the Department for International Cooperation, Thai Ha Phi; the Vice rector and the Delegate for International Relationships - respectively Carla Locatelli and Flavio Deflorian, and the coordinator of the International cooperation and agreements, Grazia Callovini.

Today, 18 July, the delegation shall visit the Departments of Information engineering and Science (DISI), Civil, environmental and mechanical engineering (DICAM), and Industrial engineering (DII). The Directors of the three Departments, together with the delegates for the international relationships will present the teaching and research activities of the sectors, which are the core of this new collaboration.
Further, they will also outline the details of the agreement and offer to their partners a more complete overview of the Departments of engineering of the University of Trento.
