among medium-sized universities

Versione stampabile

UniTrento again ranks among the best Italian universities. After conquering the first position in the Sole 24 ore ranking published in June, Censis confirms the quality of UniTrento, in the ranking drafted for the Italian newspaper La Repubblica, in the “Grande guida all’Università 2014-2015”: Trento ranks 2nd among medium-sized universities, i.e. with 10 to 20,000 enrolled students.

UniTrento obtained excellent scores regarding the evaluation of teaching and research activities, in the individual scientific areas.

The University

UniTrento ranks 2nd among medium-sized universities (10 to 20,000 enrolled students), with a score of 97.8, thus moving two positions upwards in comparison with last year.
The University mark is the mean value of the evaluation of:

  • services: 103
  • financial means for grants/scholarships for students: 90
  • facilities 92
  • web: 98
  • internationalization: 106

In absolute terms the score of the University of Trento is amongst the highest in the overall ranking: it equals the best Italian mega university (with over 40,000 enrolled students) and sweeping past the best Italian polytechnic university and the best large university (with 20 to 40,000 enrolled students) and small university (up to 10,000 students).
