2,896 students have registered to take the admission test on Friday, 7 April, a crucial date for those seeking admission at the University of Trento: the tests to enrol in courses at the departments of Sociology and Social Research, Psychology and Cognitive Science, Mathematics, Physics, Information Engineering and Computer Science, and Law will take place in the afternoon.

Registrations have increased compared to last year (they were 2,653 in 2016), possibly also due to the new three-year course in Comparative, European and International Legal Studies (which collected 174 registrations).

This year, too, it is possible to take the tests in Trento and in any of the secondary locations in Mantua, Rome, Bari and Palermo.

Students seem to appreciate this opportunity, with 20% of the total taking the tests in other cities. In particular, many have chosen Mantua (235), followed in decreasing order by Bari (125), Palermo (113) and Rome (113). Compared to last year, there has been a general increase in the number of registrations to take the tests in secondary locations.

A second round of admission tests will take place at the end of the month, on 28 April, for students seeking admission to degree courses in Cultural heritage, Philosophy, Modern languages, Historical and Philological Studies, and for those who will take the joint test for courses in Economics and Management, Business administration and Law, Business Management and Business Management for part-time students.

Students still have time until 18 April (noon) to register. Candidates can choose to take the test in Mantua, Rome, Bari, Palermo, and Trento. Students who wish to enrol in Economics courses may take the test also in Padua, Udine, Trieste and Pordenone.

Students who were not able to book their place for the tests on 7 and 28 April, and students who want to take other tests can register for the summer round of 24 August, for all the tests both in Trento and in the other cities.

The Tolc-I test for admissions to Environmental and Land Engineering, Civil engineering, and Industrial Engineering will take place next week, on 11 and 12 April 2017. The test can be taken in Trento or in any other location advertised on the Cisia website. Two further rounds of Tolc tests for the above courses are scheduled for the summer, on 17 July and 1st September.

Other dates to remember: 7 September: national test for admission to the 5-year course in Construction engineering - Architecture; 8 September: admission test for Biomolecular science and technologies; 13 September: admission test for the degree course on Vocational training, and selection test for the course in Prevention techniques in the environment and working places.

The admission test for the new course in Viticulture and Oenology will be scheduled soon.
