BOOTSTRAP is an entrepreneurial training program that aims to teach participants a variety of technical subjects in order to acquire base level competency and a shared terminology.
Program objectives:
- Check the sustainability of entrepreneurial ideas, also in consideration of a possible deviation (pivot) or abandonment of the original project;
- Consolidation and strengthening of the structure of the entrepreneurial idea;
- Guide and direct participants through mentoring and coaching in the usage of appropriate development tools and the growth of entrepreneurial initiative, such as the Business Model Canvas;
- Preparation of a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) or prototype;
- Writing of supporting documentation for the business structure such as a financial or Business plan;
- Prepare participants to present their own entrepreneurial ideas in a complete and exhaustive way taking into account the presentation audience.
The program is intended for teams that would like to start up an entrepreneurial project and may include researchers, research collaborators, PhD candidates, and persons with a postgraduate degree or PhD.
Lessons during the program will be held weekly and will be divided into mandatory and recommended lessons.
The mentoring phase, which will take place in tandem with the lesson program, involves the support of an expert with whom a plan will be devised for the development of the entrepreneurial idea.
BOOTSTRAP will last 4 months and will begin September 19th. Registration will close September 7th.
