STARTUP - Seelko receives the Green Economy Prize at Ecomondo

Seelko is a company created within the framework of the Manifattura Project, thanks to the support of the Department of Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering of the University of Trento, will receive a prize today, at Ecomondo - the most important green economy fair in Italy (Rimini, 5-8 November 2014) - in the category "Start Up for green economy".

The Foundation for the sustainable development and Ecomondo created this year the Sustainable Development Prize, to be awarded to companies marked by a particular innovative approach and the effectiveness of the results, for a development respecting nature and the protection of natural resources, and to start-ups producing goods and services for the green economy. 

The Prize, with the Patronage of the Italian President of the Republic, has been awarded, in the past, to two other companies of the Manifattura Project: BioSoilExpert and Eneray.

 Seelko, one of the most promising companies of the energy sector was awarded the prize 2014. The company deals with a new business segment based on energy harvesting, that is the recovery of energy wastes in different kinds of plants. Energy recycling recovers the wasted energy making it profitable for companies.
