Research is not something vague and far away but a real investment in the future of everyone. Everyone can make a donation which will be used to make life better for those who are in need today and for future generations.

Two local organizations and one private company share this view, and have decided to launch initiatives to support research conducted by the University of Trento through donations and a corporate fundraising initiative, which were presented today in a press conference at Palazzo Sardagna.

These donors are Associazione Albergatori e Imprese Turistiche della Provincia di Trento (hotel owners and tourist operators association), Domna (organization for women empowerment) and Gruppo Alpin.

The press conference was held by Rector Paolo Collini and the head of the University fundraising project, Cristina Maymone. Attendees included Gianni Battaiola, president of Associazione Albergatori e Imprese Turistiche della Provincia di Trento, Antonella Chiusole, president of Domna, and Mauro Dallavalle, CEO of Gruppo Alpin.

The press conference served as an occasion to remind of the two research projects that will receive funding through the University’s ‘5 per mille’ campaign, led by Carlo Miniussi and Ines Mancini.

Further information (in Italian) on the three initiatives and the projects which will be funded through the ‘5 per mille’ campaign are available in the press release.
