The TV quiz show “A scuola d’Europa - Lessons on Europe”The TV quiz show “A scuola d’Europa - Lessons on Europe”, is a programme created within the framework of the Jean Monnet Project“Apprendere l’UE a scuola - Leart about the EU at school” and financed by the European Commission. The first episode was broadcast on 17 March on Trentino TV. The game wants to promote in the high schools the debate, dialogue and knowledge of the European Union and the integration process.
160 high-school students of Trentino, belonging to 8 classes, will compete in teams.
The competition is organized by the Jean Monnet Centre in collaboration with Europe Direct Trentino, the Centre of European Information of the Autonomous Province of Trento, the Alcide De Gasperi Foundation and the Representation Office of the European Parliament of Milan.
The episodes will be broadcast live on Trentino TV, on Tuesdays, at 9.00 pm and then repeated on Saturdays at 5.00 pm and on Sundays at noon.
The project also involves a training course for university students and for high school professors. An international congress will be held in May, on the topic “The Future of the European Union”.
