650 UniTrento students competed during the 21st editino of the Summer Facoltiadi, held on 12 and 13 June, on Lake Piazze, on the Piné Plateau, organized by CUS Trento, like every year. They were divided into 28 teams representing the Departments/Centres of the University: 13 from the Departments of Engineering, 6 from the Faculty of Law, 2 of Mathematics and Physics, 1 of Humanities, Sociology, Economics and International Studies. They competed in soap football, green volley, dragon boat and beach tennis.
The event was marked by music, colours and fun. On 12 June the team Engineering 3 won the green volley competition, followed by Law 2 while the teams Engineering 10 and 2 ranked third. The soap football match was very exciting and won by Engineering 2, followed by Engineering 5 and the two teams of Sciences.
After a pleasant evening of music and fun, the two dragon boat finals were held, on the boats with Chinese origins. Engineering 6 won, followed by Law 1 (second) and Engineering 13 and Engineering 3. The beach tennis tournament was dominated by Economics, who defeated Engineering 5, the latter concluding the competition winning the final ranking.
The final score included also the results obtained by the individual teams during the first edition of the Winter Facoltiadi, held on 27 March on Monte Bondone.
The Rector, Paolo Collini, who had always attended the Facoltiadi as a Professor of Economics, took part in the Awarding Ceremony.
