Objectives: Strengthen and explore other scientific and educational collaborations with the Vietnamese University, partner of the University of Trento since 2011.
Reinforce the existing collaborations and broaden them to new disciplinary areas. This was the goal of the two days meetings, held on July 28 and 29, 2015, between the representatives of the Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST) and of the University of Trento.
Duong Ngoc Hai (Professor and Vice-President) and Tran Thi Vo Quyen (International Cooperation Department) has first met Claudio Migliaresi, scientific coordinator of the Erasmus Mundus Action 2 projects, “Swap and Transfer” and “One More Step”, where VAST is an associate partner since 2011.
Later they have been greeted at the Rectorate by Maurizio Marchese (pro-rector for international development of the University of Trento) and in Rovereto by Giorgio Vallortigara (pro-rector for research at the University of Trento) and they met the representatives of various departments and centres of the University of Trento with the aim to consolidate the ongoing projects and to find new forms of collaboration of mutual interest.
The visit has been, as well, the occasion to offer to our partner a more exhaustive vision of the departments, centres and academic offers of the University of Trento.
