The Massive Open Online Course on Big Data for Smart Cities, produced by Yannis Velegrakis, a DISI professor and Director of the Data Management Group of the University of Trento, has reached a record score of 7000 registered users worldwide. The course has been developed in the context of the IEEE Smart Cities Initiative and is available from the popular EdX platform, free of charge.
