The student Cristian Zambiasi, master student in Telecommunication Engineering, has been awarded the "IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society Pre-Doctoral Research Awards 2014-15" by the IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society, Society of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
The aim of the Award is to reward and support students involved in the research of applied electromagnetics that have proposed particularly innovative projects, and that are interesting from the academic and industrial point of view.
The student Zambiasi, in particular, won the award with the project "Tolerance Evaluation of Multi-layered Antenna Array Architectures through Interval Analysis".
This project will be carried out by the Group ELEDIA at the University of Trento, which has been operating for several years on those methodologies and technologies.
