On September14-15, 2017 in Trento will be held the national race of the Italian Olympiad in Informatics, reserved for students of Italian high schools. The Olympics are organized by the Liceo Galilei and will take place at the Scientific and Technological Center "Fabio Ferrari", in collaboration with DISI.
The event is of particular significance as it represents an opportunity to bring out and enhance the "excellence" existing in the Italian school, with positive impact on the entire education system. Even more so, considering that the scientific disciplines have a strategic value for both the development of scientific and technological research and for the cultural and professional training of young people. In addition, through initiatives such as this it is possible to create the basis to prepare students to work on further levels of study and research.
