AUSILIA awarded with Premio Innovazione SMAU

The project awarded as example of excellence in promoting digital innovation in the health care system

On 31st of March, during SMAU Padua fair, AUSILIA project has been awarded with the Premio Innovazione SMAU as example of excellence in promoting digital innovation in the health care system. The prize has been presented by SMAU president Pierantonio Macola and it is assigned to companies operating in many different fields, from agrifood to manufacturing, from chemistry to fashion, till public administrations and local institutions that, by presenting their application, intended to share their innovation strategy to others, in order to promote the diffusion of best practices.
SMAU is a network that promotes event all over the country and in over 50 years of activity, it became a reference point for Italian companies that decide to innovate by investing in technology and ICT.
AUSILIA project, coordinated by prof. Francesco De Natale from DISI, is an interdepartmental project aimed to create a high-tech laboratory located at Villa Rosa hospital in Pergine Valsugana, to study domestic solutions for elderly and disabled and it involves the University of Trento with DISI, DICAM, DII and BIOtech and the health care institution of Trento province.

The prize has been received by prof. Mariolino De Cecco, head of DII group in AUSILIA.
