The "Digital Cost Management" research project (DICOM4.0) is officially launched, a collaboration between the Department of Information Engineering and Computer Science (DISI) of the University of Trento and COSMAN, an Italian company leader in cost management projects. The aim of the project is to develop an "intelligent" platform able to analyze costs and processes of complex organizations and to support cost management specialists through predictive analysis, historical comparisons and optimization techniques for consumption processes. DICOM4.0 also contemplates the development of business intelligence tools for monitoring consumption processes that can report critical issues and, as a result, propose adaptive actions.
