Google Anita Borg Schoolarship: scholarships to 7,000 Euros for students and researchers

Google offers 7,000 Euros scholarships to students and researchers. The call for the a.y 2015-2016 of the Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship is out.

Established in memory of Dr. Anita Borg, founder of the Institute for Women and Technology, the scholarships provided by Google aimed at encouraging promising young students or researchers who want to enter the field of technology and computer science.

It is necessary to be enrolled, for the a.y. 2015-2016 to a three-year Bachelor, Master or PhD in the fields of computer science, engineering or related subjects.

At the end of the selections they will be identified 20 winners that will be awarded with a 7,000 Euros scholarship each, expendable to cover tuition fees to study courses, books or research materials.

Candidatures must be submitted by filling out the online form available on the page dedicated to the Google Anita Borg Memorial Schoolarship by 31 December 2015. At the time of registration it will be required a CV, a cover letter and reference from lecturers or consultants. The candidates will also have to describe scientific projects attended or specify a future project to achieve with the help of the scholarship.
