Versione stampabile

The Department of Economics and Management will host a Chinese researcher who has been awarded a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship by the European Commission. The program, finances excellent research projects submitted by young researchers who wish to develop their career in a European institution of their choice. This year the selection has been particularly tough, with more than 9,000 applications submitted, of which less than 15% was selected to receive funding.

Dr. Min Zhu, who has recently obtained a PhD in Economics from the University of Helsinki, will study the effects of trade barriers (such as anti-dumping, safeguards, countervailing duties) on market selection and firm behavior. She will be supervised by Dr. Chiara Tomasi, who coordinates the Empirical Microeconomics Laboratory (EMIL), a group of 8 faculty members whose research focuses on several aspects of applied economic analysis, ranging from international economics, to industrial and labor economics.
