Fulbright awards for US students and scholars

Versione stampabile

To mark the 70th anniversary of the creation of the Fulbright program in Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and the UK, the Fulbright Commissions in these countries have jointly created two Fulbright awards:

  • Fulbright Anniversary in Europe Award - Migration Studies” for US students interested in carrying out an independent study/research project on how the above EU countries are currently addressing the question of migration and integration in Europe. Grant is for ten to twelve months, and applicants should propose research/study in all five participating countries. A minimum period of two months is required in each EU member state;
  • Fulbright-Schuman 70th Anniversary Migration Research Award” for US researchers and professors, meant to attract a leading American scholar who addresses migration from a comparative, multidisciplinary perspective. Grant is for three to eight months. The incumbent would spend time in at least three of the five participating countries.
