Cooperation agreement between Amrita University and UniTrento

Amrita University (India) and the University of Trento signed a cooperation agreement towards student and researcher mobility. Prof. Maurizio Marchese, Vice Rector for International Relations, signed on behalf of Trento and Prof. Maneesha Ramesh, Dean, Amrita Center for International Programs signed on behalf of AmritaUniversity. The MoUs were exchanged between the Universities in a public event on November 12th, 2016 in the presence of Amrita Chancellor Sri Mata Amritanandamayi Devi (Amma). The day before a Delegation from Amrita University visited the academic structures of the UniTrento Science and Technology Campus and met the Delegates for International Relationd of the departments involved. 
Amrita University has been having exchange programs with UniTrento since 2009. Recalling his visit to Coimbatore campus, Prof. Marchese indicated that the enthusiasm of young researchers from Amrita University were motivated by a higher goal seen from the societal outreach of Amrita University and its projects. Prof. Marchese also concluded recalling words of Amma “Devotion and action are the two wings of a bird and knowledge is its tail. Only if these three are there, can it soar up to the heights.”
