Beyond the gold medal in the team competition, our archer also took home a silver in the individual competition.

Eleonora studies in the Modern Language degree program in the Humanities department and is a member of the “Compagnia arcieri Altopiano di Pinè”.

She has had many achievements in her athletic career: since 2007, the first year in which she participated on the Italian national team, she has won 16 international medals (between World and European championships).

At the World Field Archery Championships, she has made the podium in four consecutive championships: 2010, 2012, 2014 and 2016.

Talking with Eleonora as she returned from Slovenia, she tells us that “I’m very satisfied with my scores in the qualifying rounds, but it was really a shame to lose the gold medal again and come home with a silver! Now it’s time to come home and prepare for the World Championships in the 3D category in France and then it’s time to write my thesis!”.
