14-15 October 2017

The University of Trento, in collaboration with the FIGC (Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio) and the Autonomous Province of Trento will host the "First Hackathon of Italian Footoball - FIGC Innovation marathon”.

This will be the first ever Italian football hackathon and the second at the internation level (after Manchester City) and the first hackathon ever done by a national football federation.

The event consists in a 24-hour marathon for virtuous computer “hackers”. It's an event in which innovators, potential entreprenuers, experts and hobbiests of technology, software and applied research can participate with the goal of defining business projects, prototypes of technological solutions and/or software applications specifically designed for the theme of the event.

The hackathon is allows enthusiasts of high-tech innovation and entrepreneurial projects (as well as football!) to meet face-to-face and fine-tune their projects and applied solutions in the theme of the competition and have them evaluated by a jury of experts from the sector.
