Important deadlines

November 1: abstract submission for short presentation deadline (optional) for those who would like the opportunity to present their research at the meeting
November 26: registration deadline

Short presentations

We scheduled two time slots during the study day where students shall discuss their ongoing project works submitted by PhDs and researchers.
The first time slot, after the presentation by Sabine Sonnetag, will be devoted to the topic “Job Stress and Recovery”. The second time slot, following the presentation by Donald Truxillo, will deal with the topic “Aging in Workplace”.
Considering the tight schedule and in order to foster a fruitful debate regarding the research projects, 3 to 4 speeches will be allowed for each time slot.
Interested students are invited to send their abstract regarding their speech to franco.fraccaroli [at] unitn.it by 1 November. A selection committee (Members: Sonnetag, Truxillo, Fraccaroli) will examine and evaluate the submitted abstracts - should we receive more abstracts than those actually manageable. The main selection criterion will be the consistency of the abstract with the topic of the day.

Instructions for abstract submission

The abstract will be drafted in English, in about 150 words. It shall contain information on the research project (objectives, method) and already achieved outputs, if any. The candidate shall indicate the progress report of the project (concept stage; implementation stage; data analysis; etc.).
The abstract shall be aimed at receiving remarks and suggestions by experts on the topic. Abstract shall NOT DEAL with already accomplished research projects and published results. They shall refer to ongoing projects.
Questions to the experts are welcome on the topics regarding the research hypothesis, the planning of the research, the interpretation of results, and the data analysis strategy.”
