Global Dimension in Engineering Education (GDEE) - Block B

8 settembre 2014
September 8th - November 9th, 2014
Contatti:

Global Dimensions in Engineering Education (GDEE) is a Europaid-funded project run by a network of European Universities and Developmental NGOs in Spain, Italy and UK.
The University of Trento is partner of GDEE through the UNESCO Chair in Engineering for Human and Sustainable Development.
GDEE aims at increasing the competencies of academics in engineering, science and technology to integrate the principles of Sustainable Human Development into their teaching and research activities. This is done through several actions, among which a series of online courses will take place in 2014.

The courses are grouped in 3 Blocks (Block A, Block B and Block C), each including 3 small courses (1 ECTS each).

The second block (Block B) of online courses is about to start.

Block B - Supervising BS/MS thesis with fieldwork

The second block (Block B) of online courses is about to start.

Courses are free and targeted to academics, researchers, post-docs, graduate students, who are teaching or aiming to teach in engineering, architecture, science and technology-based university courses. The courses are a unique learning and networking opportunity to gain or increase own experience in these cross-cutting areas. Courses material has been produced by experts in engineering education and development studies.

Block B is addressed to those academics who want to advice students involved in field-work or other extension activities during BSc projects or MSc thesis, typically within or close to a formalized International Cooperation Project.

It is advised to take part to all the 3 courses in the same block, although also subscriptions to 1 or 2 courses will be considered.

Deadline for application: September 6th, 2014.

A detailed description of courses is available at the GDEE website
