  • Nicola Barban

Nicola Barban is Senior Research Fellow in the Department of Sociology at the University of Oxford and Research Fellow at Nuffield College. He earned his PhD in Statistical Sciences from the University of Padua, Italy. Before moving to Oxford, he worked as postdoctoral researcher at the University of Groningen, The Netherlands. His main interest is to combine genomics and social sciences. Currently, he is working on Sociogenome, a project on gene-environment interactions in fertility behaviour funded by the European Research Council (PI, Melinda Mills) and he is coordinating a large meta-GWAS on fertility traits.
