Summer School on Gender Economics and Society

Turin, 4-8 July 2016

Versione stampabile

The importance of gender strategies to promote growth and development and to improve welfare systems is widely recognized. This is reflected in the increasing commitment of both international organizations and national governments to programmes aimed at strengthening women's participation in economic life, politics and institutions.  Academic research is also producing more and more theoretical analysis, while there is a growing need to use gender-sensitive indicators to monitor and evaluate policies and programmes.

If you are a Master or PhD student, or you wish to expand your academic knowledge in this field, you can now apply to the Summer School on Gender Economics and Society, which will take place from 4 to 8 July, 2016 at the International Training Centre of the ILO (Turin, Italy).

The Summer School is a joint endeavour of the Turin University, Polytechnic of Turin, and ITCILO and it is specifically designed for Master's and PhD students in economics, sociology, politics, demography, management engineering and related disciplines. A limited number of places for non-students is available.
