The new libraries of UniTrento

A one and a half hour tour through the shelves and archives of the two recently built university libraries:

• the BUC – Central University Library is the work of the architect Renzo Piano. Inaugurated in 2016, is located in Le Albere neighbourhood of Trento, on what was once the Michelin industrial area;
• the BUM - Mesiano University Library is on the hill of Trento, on the edge of the city, at the headquarters of the Department of Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering. Designed by architects Weber & Winterle, it was inaugurated in 2021.

The guided tour is free of charge. Booking is required.
