Disabilità in movimento: percorsi di autodeterminazione

The Conference aims to celebrate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, established in 1981 by the United Nations to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities.

The conference, which is open to the university and city community, is based on the assumption that the self-determination of people with disabilities is what ensures their fundamental rights, and presents the contributions of scholars, institutions and organizations of civil society.

The University of Trento holds inclusion, diversity and mutual enrichment among its core values, and is aware of the crucial role that universities can play in the context of disability for its community but also as a driver for change, which is expressed in teaching and learning, research and innovation in many disciplinary areas.
