The discussion table on publishing established within the Open Science Committee has organized an event to talk about the academic publishing models adopted by state universities.

The invited publishers will briefly present their work in a public meeting together with members of the editorial staff of the University.

The invited publishers will focus on five themes:

  • The history of the publishing house: evolution and current objectives, from the foundation to today
  • The editorial project: catalogue of products and services, inside and outside the university
  • The economic model: relationship with commercial publishing, management of resources and contracts
  • The publiching model: types of products, quality control, adoption of an open access policy
  • Dissemination and promotion: web and social communication, publishing platforms
