The lecture will be held in English.

After the archaeologist John Scheid, the theoretical physicist Antoine Georges, the medieval expert Michel Zink, the scholar in cognitive neuroscience Stanislas Dehaene, the expert in neurobiology Alain Prochiantz, the expert in Italian language and literary theorist Carlo Ossola, the famous sociologist Pierre Rosanvallon and archaeologist Jean-Pierre Brun, another important scholar from the Collège de France, Clément Sanchez, a chemist, is welcomed by the University of Trento to hold a lecture for students, Doctoral students and professors of the University within the joint Professorship which unites the two institutions.

The lecture Biomimetism and bioinspiration: Sources of knowledge to create new materials is part of the workshop "Colloqui in Collina" (conferences on the hill), organized by the Departments of industrial, environmental and mechanical engineering, information engineering, physics, mathematics and by the Centre for integrative biology and Centre for mind/brain sciences. The lecture is open to all professors, researchers and students of those Departments and Centres.
