The ninth edition of the Start-Up Lab ends with the Demo Day, the final event of the workshop organized by CLab Trento in collaboration with the University of Trento and Hub Innovazione Trentino.

The Start Up Lab is a course including a number of classes and long group sessions in which 110 graduate, PhD and postdoc students from 11 different departments and 17 nationalities work together to develop innovative business projects with the help of teachers, mentors and startup experts. 

The purpose of the course is to train a new generation of entrepreneurs and to educate new managers who have a proactive, critical and innovative attitude towards today's challenges.

At the Demo Day, the finalist teams will present their innovative idea that they have developed during the 3 months of the course. They will be evaluated by a jury composed of experts from innovative companies from the local and international business sector. 

Students have 4 minutes to convince the jury to win the competition. 

This year the jury is composed of national and international members:

• Andrea Cuoghi – Project manager and business coach (Trentino Sviluppo)
• Marco Senigalliesi – Head of the Startup and Acceleration Unit (Hub Innovazione Trentino)
• Gabriele Paglialonga – Managing Director (Industrio Ventures)
• Andrea Bolner – Business Angel (BanD)
• Rui Barros Silva – Enterprise Education Projects Officer (Cass Business School)
• Chloe Hwang – CEO and Co-founder TxC

The event will be in English. The public can vote for the People's Choice Award winner.
