Morte di un matematico napoletano

The screening of the film Death of a Neapolitan mathematician, portraying the life of Neapolitan mathematician Renato Caccioppoli (1904-1959), is offered in view of the presentation of the book L'attrito della vita. Indagine su Renato Caccioppoli, matematico napoletano, by Lorenza Foschini (La nave di Teseo, 2022), that will be held on Friday 11 November at 5:00 pm in the conference room of the MUSE Museum.

The event is organized by the BUP, the Povo University Library, in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics and the Department of Sociology and Social Research, within the PopMat Laboratory for the communication, history and philosophy of mathematics.
