Innocore Day 2022

During the Innocore Day, attendees will have the opportunity to gain knowledge on the fields of Genomics, Transcriptomcs, Next Generation Sequencing and Single Cell technologies. Moreover, they will be inspired  by recent technological and scientific advances in High Throughput Screening for Drug Discovery and Target discovery and validation.

Participants will meet experts of technologies from different institutions and learn about the importance of academic Core Facilities for education and innovation in modern research through the use cases implemented within the InnoCore project

The event is in presence and open to scientists and facility staff from academia, industries and clinics.

About the Innocore Days

The Innocore Day is an initiative launched by the University of Trento (IT) in collaboration with the partners of Innocore Consortium*, which includes EU universities and experts of innovation.
This event is part of a series of Innocore Days that will be organised at the premises of each partner University, including:

  • InnoCore Day on Proteomics in Brno (CEITEC-Masarik University, Brno, CZ), 3 May, 2022
  • Innocore Day on Genomics and Drug Discovery (Dep. CIBIO-University of Trento, IT), 6 June 2022 (Italian meeting, by invitation only), 7 June, 2022
  • InnoCore Day on Advanced Imaging in Coimbra (CNC-University of Coimbra, P), 21 June, 2022

These events are aimed at presenting to the scientific community the importance of Core Facilities in modern Life Science, not only from a scientific and technological point of view, but also in education and innovation.
The practices implemented in the InnoCore project to boost innovation - leveraging on the academic Core Facilities - will be shared with the community by the main actors: project participants, students, experts of innovation, and companies.
*Partners of the Innocore Consortium are the University of Trento (IT), the University of Coimbra (PT); the Centre for Neuroscience and Cell Biology, Coimbra (PT); CEITEC-Masaryk University of Brno (CZ); Hub Innovazione Trentino Foundation (IT); Sanipedia S.r.l. (IT); Fundacion Publica Andaluza Parque Tecnológico De Ciencias De La Salud De Granada (ES).
