Abstract:
The seminar would be the occasion to present an innovative imaging platform for super-resolution microscopy, the Nanonimager from ONI (https://oni.bio/).This instrument is designed to perform single-molecule imaging by incorporating confocal, Structured illumination 3D-SIM and d-STORM, to reach 20 nm resolution.By combining three different modes of illumination (Epi, TIRF and HILO), it permits to adopt different solutions to perform:

-single molecule FRET
- TIRF
- super-resolution with dSTORM
- super-resolution by 3D SIM (compatible with live imaging)
- single molecule tracking in living samples of proteins, nuclei acids and vescicles
- quantitative imaging
