On the 9th of February, CIMeC will host the Doctoral Student Day ("DS Day"), an event organized by the PhD students of the CIMeC's Doctoral School in Cognitive and Brain Science, and aimed to present their research projects to all the researchers and students of the Center. 

During the day, three students selected by the DS Day Committee will give a 20-minute oral presentation about their work to CIMeC faculty, staff, postdoctoral researchers, PhD students, and Master’s students, in the Aula Magna of Palazzo Istruzione.

9:45-10:05    Alireza Karami - "Is number represented independently from other quantities in the human brain?" 
10:05-10:25  Alexia Stuefer - "Towards a chronobiological reconceptualization of the excitatory/inhibitory imbalance theory for autism: insights from chemogenetics studies in rodents"
10.25-10:45  Elena Eccher - "Explicit and Implicit direction of Mental Number Line as a function of culture and education" 

All other doctoral students will present posters of their work in two different sessions (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) in Palazzo Istruzione.

At the end of the day (16.30-17.30), dr. Talia Brandman and dr. Geoffrey Brookshire will give the students two talks about their academic and non-academic careers.
