NAMEPES Summer School (16-19 June 2020)  is organised by the Jean Monnet Centre of the University of Trento and Prof. Pejman Abdolmohammadi (School of International Studies) within NAMEPS Jean Monnet Project with the support of the European Commission. 

In 4 days of lectures, workshops and roundtables with international experts from prestigious universities (such as: Fawaz Gerges, London School of Economics, Ali Ansari, St Andrews University, José María Porras Ramírez, Universidad de Granada), NAMEPES Summer School will provide its participants with a deep understanding of the relations between the MENA region and the European Union in different aspects (geopolitics, international relations, economics, law).

Class size

Admission is reserved to a maximum of 30 students (up to 15 students from University of Trento and up to 15 external students).

Academic background

Preferably PhD students, MA students and graduates in International Relations, Political Science, History, Law and Economics.
BA students are eligible only if they have completed at least one academic course in the field of Middle Eastern Studies, or topics strictly related to this area.
English knowledge: at least B2 level.

Tuition fees 

None, since the Summer School costs are supported by the European Commission within Jean Monnet Action (Erasmus+ Programme, Call 2019).
