Abstract

Scientometrics is a field research that is concerned with the measurement of different features of the (un)published scholarly literature. This workshop is intended to provide an overview of Scientometrics. There are two main sections covered in the workshop: section one facilitates using Scopus and/or the Web of Science (WoS) to develop a suitable dataset for analysis. In addition, in the second section of the workshop, the participants will do hands-on practice to use CiteSpace, special software, for analyzing their datasets. Multiple approaches and considerations for running Scientometric analysis will be discussed and possible ways of interpreting outputs will be presented.
