Invecchiamento e plasticità - Aging and plasticity

Aging is usually associated with the decline of cognitive functions (attention, memory, language, etc.). This association is supported by data from research in cognitive neuroscience that show that older individuals perform more poorly and have less intense brain activity. In recent years, however, evidence has emerged of the presence of plasticity phenomena even among aging individuals. The lecture will focus on these phenomena in the field of cognitive neuroscience.
