Abstract

Huawei Technologies is a leader company in Telecommunications. The company is heavily investing in Europe for the Research of new solutions and technologies to improve more and more its products. In particular, in Italy, Huawei Microwave Center is working on the Radio Technologies that will be soon introduced in the Radio Networks products of future generations and shortly in 5G. A brief introduction of Huawei 5G roadmaps, of the Center research activities and of the hardware and network challenges will be presented with a particular focus on the activities involving joint research with universities.
