Abstract

In Fincons we fully understand our client’s needs, and sometimes we are even able to forecast them by developing innovative technological solutions, enabling new business processes for new business models. The most important thing is our starting point: what our customer needs, not the technology itself.

One of our main “bricks” we put into building is a new digital platform for our customers called Fincons Fast Data Lake. Basically, we started from a specific need: having all data together, always available and real-time updated, with no performance issues in massive data reading.
Leveraging our know-how, we created a new stack, based on change data capture technology, Kafka queue manager, Spark engine and NoSql databases. In this way we can create a real-time data platform, already available for API access.

There will be no performance issues on source systems since Change Data Capture (CDC) is “out of the box”, integrated with most relational databases; there will be no API latency issues since data are already prepared for use case; there will be no scalability issue since one spark engine’s strength is the scalability.

This is only one among the examples of our approach to digital transformation challenges supporting our customers.
