Abstract: Motivated by the Bloch-Beilinson conjectures, Voisin made a conjecture concerning 0-cycles on complex smooth projective varieties of geometric genus 1.We will briefly explain this conjecture, and then present some old and new examples where the conjecture is verified. In these examples, the conjecture can be verified thanks to various techniques that have wider relevance: finite-dimensional motives, the idea of "spread’’ of cycles in a family, some results concerning the Chow ring of abelian varieties, …
