Castelnuovo-Mumford regularity of edge ideal of graphs

Abstract: Let G be a graph with n vertices‎, S= K[x1,...,xn] be the polynomial ring in n variables‎ over a field K and I(G) denote the edge ideal of G. For every collection H of connected graphs‎ with K2 in H, we introduce the notions‎ of ind-matchH(G) and min-matchH(G).
We will improve the inequalities‎ for regularity of S/I(G). Moreover, we will dis‎cus‎s‎ about Cohen-Macaulaynes‎s‎ of a graph with girth at leas‎t five. Furthermore, we will give s‎ome res‎ults‎ on a pawfree and doubly Cohen-Macaulay graph.
