Abstract:

I exploited the intrinsic randomness of quantum superposition principle to construct a quantum random number generator. I report the experimental limitations of this generator tested on the 'ibmqx4' quantum computer, available on the IMB Q Experience. In particular, I analyzed the probability distribution of random numbers finding different sources of correlation.
