Abstract
The nature of dark matter remains a mystery to date. In this talk, I will present some novel mechanisms to probe the properties of two dark matter
candidates, the weakly interacting massive particle and the axion, using black hole physics. I will also discuss how to assess the abundance of black holes
in galaxies in these theories.
