Abstract
In a context of strong growth in the space economy worldwide, Italy is heavily involved, both nationally and internationally, in ambitious scientific, application and human exploration projects that require continuous technological development and the training of new generations of scientists and engineers.
Massimo Comparini, Managing Director of Thales Alenia Spazio Italia (TAS-I), Italy's leading company in the space sector, will visit the University of Trento on 21 September to discuss the activities of the Extended Space Partnership coordinated by the Department of Physics and involving the three Engineering Departments (Information Engineering and Computer Science - DISI, Industrial Engineering - DII and Civil, Environmental and Mechanical Engineering - DICAM), and Fondazione Bruno Kessler - FBK, presenting TAS-I's vision of collaboration between universities, research and industry in our country and the tools and strategies for making this collaboration a reality.
