On 21 November 2023 from 2:30 to 6:30 p.m., the sixth edition of the "International Cosmic Day (ICD)" initiative within the OCRA project will be held at the Department of Physics and INFN-TIFPA. ICD is a free event, open to high school students (teachers) and students enrolled in a three-year physics degree course at UniTN.
Students will use detectors built at INFN-TIFPA to reveal Cosmic Muons, particles that surround us and pass through us at all times. Together they will answer questions about the nature of cosmic rays, their origin and detection techniques.
Deadline for registration: November 18.
