Abstract:
This talk is based on the paper (Mao et al., 2002).
Population systems are modeled by multivariate deterministic systems which (depending on the parameters) can lead to population explosion. However, population systems are often subject to environmental noise, and our aim is to show that (surprisingly) the presence of even a tiny amount can suppress a potential population explosion.
