Abstract:
Publishing a research paper can be a daunting and stressful process, particularly for PhD students, who may be unfamiliar with scientific journals, manuscript submission best practices, peer review and so on. This event is an opportunity to meet Franco Dalfovo, who has been an Editor of Physical Review for over 16 years, and discuss with him about his experience with authors, referees and publishers.  After a short introduction, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
