Abstract
Accountability assumes different meanings and forms depending on the time and the context in which it is developed. The main aim of accountability is to provide tools through which an organization could provide the account for its actions to the several stakeholders having different claims. Our studies underline the key clues to recognize to whom and how organizations should be accountable.
