Oltre le barriere: come le differenze influenzano l'economia e le organizzazioni

The University of Trento, through the Department of Economics and Management, presents the second of two events that aim to investigate how differences can affect the economy and organizations.

This meeting will focus on the gender gap in education choices and careers. Three experts from the Department of Economics and Management (DEM) will discuss different aspects of the issue.

In particular, doctoral student Chiara Gioia and Professor Matteo Ploner will present an experimental study on gender differences in beliefs about performance in competitive environments. Professor Daniela Piazzalunga will instead explore the gender gap in STEM disciplines and economics, examining education choices and their impact. Finally, researcher Alessandra Scroccaro will talk about the Equal Opportunities Report 2022 and the current situation of the gender gap within the University.
