By bringing together international scholars who study the evolution of the Chinese production system from amicroeconomic and regional perspectives, the workshop intends to offer a venue for the discussion of the multifaceted process of economic transformation that China has been going through. The discussion will help to shed light on the prospective challenges associated with the new phase of economic development in China.

The Event is linked to the interdisciplinary research project “Institutional change, economic growth and social development”, funded by the Autonomous Province of Trento.
